One Hurt in Industrial Accident at Suffolk Recycling in Suffolk, VA

Suffolk, VA -- An industrial incident in the area of Suffolk, VA left an unidentified person with injuries Thursday, January, 26, 2017.

The incident took place about 1:25 p.m. at Suffolk Recycling.

The report claims the injured employee was unloading a vehicle when the flatbed slipped off the truck. The injured worker was reportedly pinned to the ground. It appears his coworkers were able to lift the bed, freeing the man He was taken to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
