Lisa Salliby Killed in Accidental Explosion in Rico, CO

Rico, CO -- A home explosion at 340 N. Piedmont Street left 42-year-old Lisa Salliby dead in the area of Rico, CO Thursday, January 26, 2017.

The cause of the deadly incident had yet to be determined. Officials claim the explosion may have been caused by a propane leak. The report claims it took authorities up to three hours to locate the deceased victim following the incident. Ms. Salliby was killed at the scene of the incident. Officials are currently examining the details of the incident in the hopes of determining the cause.

The investigation into the deadly explosion is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
