James Rogers, Rachel Myers Injured in Mooresville, NC, Accident

Mooresville, NC -- January 21, 2017, James Rogers and Rachel Myers were both injured following an accident where their car crashed with a fire truck.

Mooresville Police were called out to the scene of the accident at around 5:00 p.m. A fire truck was at an accident scene that occurred earlier in the southbound lanes of I-77, near Mile Marker 34.

According to reports, a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Rogers lost control coming up to the accident scene. As a result, it crashed into the back of the fire truck.

Following the collision, Rogers and his passenger, 19-year-old Myers, were both injured. Emergency services transported them to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities did not report any charges or citations following the crash. Police say their investigations are ongoing.
