One Killed in Train Accident on Metra Line in Chicago, IL

Chicago, IL -- A collision between a passenger vehicle and a Metra train claimed the life of an unidentified person Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Chicago, IL.

It looks like the 610 Train and the vehicle collided in the area of Northwest Highway and Austin Avenue about 7 a.m. The details of the incident are unclear, but the report claims one person was killed. There was no mention of further injuries related to the incident. The identity of the deceased victim has not been disclosed.

Officials are currently examining the details of the incident.
