Tyler Burns Killed in San Antonio, TX, Single-Vehicle Accident

San Antonio, TX -- January 23, 2017, Tyler Burns was fatally injured due to an accident that occurred where his vehicle crashed off the highway.

Authorities from San Antonio and Bexar County Police investigated the fatal crash around 3:00 a.m. It occurred near the intersection of I-10 and Hausman Road.

29-year-old Burns was a passenger in a vehicle that was traveling down I-10. For reasons not yet clear, the vehicle lost control and veered off the side of the road. The car then crashed through a fence and into a concrete barrier.

Burns suffered fatal injuries in the accident, and EMS pronounced him dead at the scene. The driver had to be cut out of the vehicle before being transported to University Hospital. His injuries were said to be serious.

At this time, authorities have not said what factors contributed to the crash. They continue to investigate the accident.
