Kristin Davis, Eddie Sheriff, Ricardo Ortize Hurt in Moreland, GA, Accident

Moreland, GA -- January 20, 2017, Kristen Davis, Eddie Sheriff, and Ricardo Ortize were all injured following a school bus accident.

The Georgia State Police responded to the accident scene at the intersection of State Highway 14 and Camp Street.

Police indicated that a 51-year-old Teresa Malone was driving a school bus with about 25 students of various ages on-board. The bus reportedly entered the path of a Ford Thunderbird driven by 61-year-old Sheriff. This caused a collision between the two vehicles.

Emergency services were called to the scene to render aid. 7-year-old Davis, from the bus, Sheriff, and 44-year-old Ortize, both from the Firebird, were taken to Piedmont Newnan Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Following the accident, authorities say they charged Malone with failure to yield. They have not released any additional details on the accident.
