1 Dead, 2 Injured in Pymouth, MA, Truck Rollover Accident on Rt 25

Plymouth, MA -- January 21, 2017, one person was killed, two others injured, after an accident in which a truck rolled over on Highway 25.

The accident was investigated by the Massachusetts State Police, who indicated that the accident occurred around noon along State Highway 25.

Their preliminary investigations indicate that a large truck was traveling down the highway in the westbound lanes of travel. For reasons that aren't clear, the truck lost control and swerved off the side of the highway. It careened some distance over the median before eventually overturning repeatedly and landing on its roof.

Due to the severity of the crash, a 47-year-old man in the truck died at the scene. Two other occupants of the truck were seriously injured. Emergency services transported both of them to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities have yet to indicate what factors were involved in the accident. Police continue to investigate the fatal crash.
