Woman Killed in Caton Ave. & St. Paul’s Avenue Truck Accident in Brooklyn, NY

Brooklyn, NY -- An auto-transport truck vs. pedestrian incident left an unidentified woman dead in the area of Brooklyn, NY Wednesday, January 25, 2017.

It appears the woman may have been on foot near Caton Ave. and St. Paul's Place about 8:26 p.m.

The report claims the semi-truck, headed east on Caton Avenue, struck the woman. The identity of the victim has not been revealed. Officials say the victim sustained severe trauma to her head and body. The woman, described only as being in her 40's, was killed at the scene of the incident.

The cause of the incident is unclear.

Officials are currently conducting the investigation.

The report provided no more information regarding the deadly collision.
