Kristina Albrecht Killed in Accomack County, VA

Accomack County, VA -- A two-vehicle collision claimed the life of 29-year-old Kristina Albrecht in the area of Accomack County, VA Wednesday, January 25, 2017.

It is alleged the victim's Nissan was headed south on Locustville Road when it encountered with a northbound Chrysler Town & Country. Ms. Albrecht was taken to Shore Memorial Hospital, but later succumbed to her injuries. The report claims Ms. Albrecht was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The cause of the incident had not been determined at the time of the report. There was no mention of other injuries in the collision.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
