James William Wyatt Killed, Two Hurt in Accident in Blacksburg, SC

Blacksburg, SC -- An incident involving a tractor-trailer claimed the life of 46-year-old James William Wyatt and left two hurt in the area of Blacksburg, SC Wednesday, January 25, 2017.

It appears a Honda Accord, occupied by the deceased victim, was southbound on I-85 when the incident happened. The vehicle reportedly careened into a brake lane, colliding with a parked semi-truck. The passenger car came to a stop beneath the rig, according to the report. The force of the impact killed Mr. Wyatt at the scene of the collision. A passenger in the Honda and the driver of the rig were injured in the incident.

The cause of the 9:30 p.m. crash has not been determined.

The official investigation is currently underway.
