Man Critically Injured in W. Michigan Avenue Kalamazoo, MI Accident

Kalamazoo, MI -- A single-vehicle crash in the area of Kalamazoo, MI Sunday, January 22, 2017 left an unidentified driver with critical injuries.

The vehicle containing the victim was headed east on W. Michigan Avenue about 10 p.m. when the incident happened.

It appears the victim's vehicle for reason unclear veered off the roadway and struck a light pole. The driver was discovered in the front seat, and was unresponsive. He was freed from the vehicle, and was transported to Bronson Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The victim's identity has not been revealed.

The official investigation is currently underway and may reveal more details as it concludes.
