Woman Injured in Las Vegas, NV, School Bus Accident on Durango

Las Vegas, NV -- January 24, 2017, a woman was injured following an accident in which her car and a school bus collided on Durango Drive.

Las Vegas Police, Fire, and other rescue crews responded to the two-vehicle accident that happened around 6:30 a.m.

At the intersection of Ann Road and Durango Drive, a passenger car and a Clark County ISD school bus somehow crossed paths and crashed with each other. The bus continued after the initial collision and ran through a brick wall on someone's property before coming to a stop.

Following the collision, the woman driving the passenger car was transported from the scene to be treated for moderate injuries. Reports say no children were on the bus at the time, and no additional injuries occurred.

Authorities did not report any citations resulting from the accident. They have not released any additional details.
