Man Killed in Truck Accident on State Route 191 in Moab, UT

Moab, UT -- A single-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer took the life of an unidentified 27-year-old man in the area of Moab, UT Wednesday, January 19, 2017.

The incident took place on State Route 191 in the area of Moab, UT.

It is believed the truck, hauling a trailer, veered into the shoulder of a curve in Moab Canyon. The vehicle reportedly failed to negotiate the curve, colliding with a rock wall mountainside. The driver, whose identity has been withheld pending notification of next of kin, was thrown through the windshield of the truck. He was killed at the scene of the incident.

The cause of the incident is unclear at this time.
