Dale Council Killed in North Little Rock, AR, Hit-and-run Accident

North Little Rock, AR -- January 21, 2017, Dale Council suffered fatal injuries due to a hit-and-run accident that occurred as he was walking down the road.

Authorities from the North Little Rock Police Department were called out to the accident scene at around 10:30 p.m. When they arrived at the intersection of Camp Robinson Road and Larkspur Lane, they found 54-year-old Council on the ground in the roadway.

Their initial reports indicate that he was walking in the area when he was hit by a passing vehicle. That vehicle fled the scene, reportedly leaving behind some debris at the scene.

Council was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center in critical condition. He eventually succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, police have not released details about the suspect vehicle. They say the incident remains under investigation.
