Truman Lee Thurman Killed in Accident in Buna, TX

Jasper County, TX -- A single-vehicle incident claimed the life of 62-year-old Truman Lee Thurman in the area of Buna, TX Tuesday, January 24, 2017.

The incident took place on Farm to Market Road 253 about 9:30 a.m.

It appears the vehicle occupied by the victim was headed west on 253 when it veered off the roadway, colliding with a tree. The cause of the crash had yet to be determined at the time of the report. Mr. Thurman was declared dead at the scene of the incident.

The investigation is currently being conducted at this time.

More details may become clear as the investigation reached its conclusion.
