Destiny Rodriguez Killed in Work Accident in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX -- A work incident in San Antonio, TX claimed the life of 19-year-old Destiny Rodriguez Monday, January 23, 2017.

The victim was working at a dig site in the area of 13700 Potranco Road about 10:30 when the incident occurred.

It appears Ms. Rodriguez was inside the area of the dig when a backhoe, operated by the site foreman, fell on her. Ms. Rodriguez was killed at the scene of the incident. The report claims the foreman, who has yet to be identified, was hospitalized for possible shock.

Family member's of the victim claim Ms. Rodriguez came home from work with a grapefruit-sized bruise, and that the operator of the backhoe was involved in the first incident.

The report also claims co-workers had complained in the past the foreman had behaved carelessly.

Officials are currently examining the details of the incident.
