Christopher Lawrence Duncan Killed in Train Accident in Dexter, MI

Lima Township, MI -- A pedestrian vs. train collision claimed the life of Christopher Lawrence Duncan Monday, January 23, 2017 in the area of Dexter, MI.

The incident took place about 1:20 p.m. in the area of North Lima Center Road and Dexter-Chelsea Road. Mr. Duncan was reportedly killed at the scene of the incident. It appears he was headed eastbound on the train tracks when he was struck. The cause of the deadly incident is unclear, but police say they believe Mr. Duncan was wearing headphones when the collision took place.

The official investigation is currently underway and authorities hope to determine a cause as it concludes.
