David Holland Injured in Truck Accident in Buna, TX

Buna, TX --An incident involving a motorcycle vs. a tractor-trailer left 48-year-old David Holland serious injuries Monday, January 23, 2017.

The collision occurred in a construction zone on U.S. 96 about 11 a.m.

It appears the bike, for reasons unknown, collided with a flatbed in a construction zone. Mr. Holland was reportedly thrown from his bike. The report claims the victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. The flatbed truck was unoccupied at the time of the collision.

Mr. Holland was taken to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Authorities are currently examining the details of the collision.

The investigation remains open.
