Elizabeth Davis, Yolanda Davis Killed in Accidental House Fire in Hot Springs, AR

Hot Springs, AR -- A house fire in the area of Hot Springs, AR claimed the lives of Elizabeth Davis, 58, and 37-year-old Yolanda Davis Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

Officials responded to reports of a house fire at 1:15 Wade Street about 8 p.m.

The report claims responding units broke into the front door, and were able to located the two victims. Officials began to perform life-saving procedures on the two women, but their injuries were too great. Both women died at the scene of the incident. Fire officials say a bedroom sustained most of the damage in the fire.

The cause of the incident that took the two women's lives had not been determined at the time of the report.

Authorities are examining the details of the deadly fire and hope to determine the cause as the investigation unfolds.
