Claton Miller, Danna Wilhelm Killed in Plane Accident in Wellington, TX

Wellington, TX -- A plane crash in the area of Wellington, TX left Claton Miller, 28, and 40-year-old Danna Wilhelm Saturday, January 21, 2017.

It looks like the plane occupied by the deceased victims crashed shortly after takeoff from an airport near Wellington. According to a witness account, the plane banked on a turn shortly after takeoff, and somehow lost control. The plane reportedly flipped over, crashing into a nearby field. Claton Miller, the pilot of the plane and Ms. Wilhelm, the passenger, were killed at the scene. The cause of the crash remains undetermined.

Officials with the National Transportation Safety Board are examining the details of the incident.
