Kevin Hidalgo Killed in Truck Accident in Stafford, OR

Stafford, OR -- A pedestrian vs. semi-truck incident on Interstate 205 in Stafford, OR left 26-year-old Kevin Hidalgo dead Saturday, January 21, 2017.

The incident reportedly occurred about 4 a.m.

It looks like the deceased victim ended up on the interstate on foot, and was subsequently struck by a passing semi-truck. Mr. Hidalgo was killed at the scene of the collision, according to officials. 40-year-old Robert Barncord, the driver of the big rig, was uninjured in the incident.

Officials had yet to determine the cause of Mr. Hidalgo's death.

The collision left a portion of the incident closed for several hours.

The official investigation is currently underway and may reveal more details as it concludes.
