Enrique Javier Salazar Killed, Warren Soils Injured in Truck Accident in Bell County, TX

Bell County, TX -- A collision between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer took the life of Enrique Javier Salazar and left Warren Soils injured in Bell County, TX.

The incident reportedly happened on Interstate 35 Saturday, January 21, 2017 about 5 a.m.

The report alleges the victim was the occupant of a four-door sedan that collided with the semi-truck in the northbound center lane. It is unclear if the 27-year-old victim was killed at the scene. 32-year-old Warren Soils, the driver of the big rig, was taken to Scott & White Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The incident left a portion of the highway closed for several hours.

The official investigation is currently underway.

The report provided no further details regarding the deadly crash.
