Juliette Dajani Dies on Shawnee Mountain, PA, Skiing Accident

Monroe County, PA -- January 13, 2017, Juliette Dajani suffered fatal injuries in the Poconos on Shawnee Mountain following an accident while she was skiing.

Monroe County authorities rushed to the scene of the accident at the Shawnee Mountain Resort. Upon their investigations, they discovered that 15-year-old Dajani, from Singapore, was skiing at the resort. For reasons that are unclear, she somehow crossed paths with a snow-making machine. She could not stop in time, and she collided into the obstruction.

She suffered fatal injuries and was rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital for intensive care. She was later pronounced dead there.

Authorities have yet to release specific details surrounding the accident. Their investigations into the fatal incident are ongoing.
