Armando Ibanez Killed, One Hurt in Madison Co., MS

Madison Co., MS --A collision between a passenger van and a tractor-trailer took the life of 19-year-old Armando Ibanez and left one injured in the area of Madison Co., MS Sunday, January 15, 2017.

The details of the incident are unclear, but the report claims the incident took place on I-55 Sunday morning.

Police say they arrived on the scene to find an overturned tractor-trailer and a wrecked van. The driver of the van, Mr. Ibanez, required extraction from the vehicle. It is believed Mr. Ibanez was killed at the scene of the incident. A second victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

Authorities are examining the details of the incident in then hopes of determining the cause.
