Paul Lee Moyer Injured in Livingston, TX, 18-wheeler Accident

Livingston, TX -- January 18. 2017, Paul Lee Moyer was injured due to an accident in which the 18-wheeler he was driving rolled over on the highway.

Local authorities responded to the accident scene along US Highway 59 near the Trinity River bridge. According to preliminary reports, 49-year-old Moyer was driving an 18-wheeler southbound on the highway carrying raw chicken.

As he was traveling, the semi-trailer began to hydroplane, skidding sideways. As a result, the 18-wheeler swerved off of the highway and repeatedly overturned.

Due to the crash, Moyer sustained non-critical injuries. EMS transported him to a local hospital for treatment.

Polk County officials did not release any additional details regarding the accident.
