Christopher Steeleman, Christopher Edwards Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident in Holts Summit, MO

Holts Summit, MO -- A two-vehicle collision claimed the lives of Christopher Steeleman and Christopher Edwards in Holts Summit, MO Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

It appears Mr. Edwards, 40, was driving along Highway 54 when it collided with a vehicle occupied by 32-year-old Christopher Steeleman. The vehicle occupied Mr. Edwards reportedly caught fire. Mr. Steeleman's vehicle flipped over. It is claimed in the report neither driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident.

The exact cause of the incident had yet to be determined.

The official investigation is currently underway and may reveal more details at its conclusion.

The preliminary media report provided no further information at the time of its release.
