Arden Hall Killed, Howard Thompson III & One Other Hurt in West Laurel, MD Accident

West Laurel, MD -- A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of 44-year-old Arden Hall and left Howard Thompson III and an unidentified person hurt in West Laurel, MD Sunday, January 15, 2017.

It appears the vehicle containing the victim was headed east on Maryland 198 about 3 a.m. when the incident happened. Officials arrived on the scene to find the Jeep containing the vehicles in the woods and flipped over. One occupant, 44-year-old Arden Hall, was killed at the scene of the incident. Howard Thompson III and an unidentified victim were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.

It is unclear what caused the deadly crash, but police say they believe alcohol may have been a factor.

The press release left no further information at the time of its release.

Officials are investigating the incident in the hopes of determining a cause.
