Calvin Straub Killed in Farming Accident in West Hemlock Twp, PA

West Hemlock Township, PA -- A farming incident claimed the life of Calvin Straub in the area of West Hemlock Township, PA Saturday, January 14, 2017.

Sources say the man was riding a tractor hauling a load of logs when the incident took place. It appears the vehicle was attempting a sharp turn, and for reasons unknown, the vehicle rolled. It is unclear Mr. Straub was killed at the scene of the incident.

Officials are examining the details of the incident in the hopes of determining the cause of the incident.

The preliminary press release provided no further information at the time of its release.
