Head-On Accident Kills One Child and left Four People Dead on 147th Dr. in Goodyear, AZ

Goodyear, AZ -- A head-on collision claimed the life of one child and left four people dead on 147th Dr in Goodyear, AZ Friday, January 13, 2017.

Sources say the two-vehicles collided near 147th Dr and Camelback Road.

Witnesses claimed they believe one of the vehicles was trying to turn left onto Camelback when it collided head-on with the second vehicle. A 12-year-old girl was killed, and four victims--all under the age of 18--were left with undisclosed injuries. The fatal collision left a portion of the highway closed for several hours.

It is unclear what caused the incident at this time.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
