Two Injured in Ocoee, FL, School Bus Accident on Clarcona Ocoee

Ocoee, FL -- January 19, 2017, two people sustained injuries resulting from an accident in which a school bus and a pickup crashed on Clarcona Ocoee Road.

Authorities from the Ocoee Police Department responded to the accident scene at around 6:00 a.m. Their reports say the crash happened along Clarcona Ocoee Road near the Apopka Vineland Road intersection.

Initial details say that both a school bus, belonging to a private school, and a pickup were traveling along Clarcona Ocoee. Somehow they crossed paths with one another, and the pickup crashed into the back of the bus.

As a result of the collision, one of the students from the bus sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver of the pickup was extricated from his vehicle and transported via helicopter to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Authorities did not report any charges or citations resulting from the accident. Their investigations are ongoing.
