Linda Ramsey Killed in Beaumont, TX, Car Accident

Beaumont, TX -- January 18, 2017, Linda Ramsey was killed following an accident in which her car and another vehicle collided with each other.

Preliminary reports released by the Beaumont Police Department indicate that the incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Magnolia Street and Fillmore Street.

According to initial investigations, 75-year-old Ramsey was driving a Cadillac down Magnolia. As her vehicle crossed the Fillmore intersection, a Chevy Camero somehow crossed her path. The two vehicles crash in the intersection.

Ramsey suffered critical injuries in the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Camero refused treatment.

Authorities did not report any charges or citations following the accident. The cause of the crash is unclear at this time.

Investigations are ongoing.
