Man Killed After Vehicle Falls Off Jack on 1300 Coke Street San Angelo, TX

San Angelo, TX -- An incident in the area of 1300 Coke Street claimed the life of an unidentified 55-year old man Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

Sources say the man was working on a disabled vehicle, hoisted upon a jack, when the jack collapsed, crushing the man. It appears when rescue units arrived, the man was unconscious and not breathing. The unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital, but died as a result of his injuries a short time later.

Due to the immediacy of the incident, the report provided no further information at the time of its release.

The official investigation into the man's death is currently underway.
