3 Children, 1 Adult Injured in Pasco Co., FL, School Bus Accident

Pasco County, FL -- January 17, 2017, three children and one adult were injured after an accident in which a school bus and an 18-wheeler crashed on FL-52.

Pasco County Police officers responded to the two-vehicle accident scene at the intersection of Florida Highway 52 and the I-75 service road.

According to early reports, the school bus was traveling down FL-52 at the time when it somehow crossed paths with an 18-wheeler traveling down the service road. As they crossed the itnersection, the two vehicles made contact and crashed into one another.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, and reports say that three children and an adult, all from the bus, were injured in the crash. Their injuries did not appear critical. They were taken to a hospital.

At this time, authorities have not confirmed what caused the accident to occur. Their investigations are ongoing.
