Two Killed in Truck Accident on 10 Freeway in Claremont, CA

Claremont, CA -- A two-vehicle collision between a passenger car and a semi-truck killed two unidentified people Wednesday, January 17, 2017.

It looks like the two vehicles collided about 3:53 a.m.

The report claims a driver and a passenger were killed in the collision. It was unknown at the time of the report in which vehicle the victim were riding. A portion of the eastbound 10 Freeway remained closed for several hours following the deadly incident.

The official investigation is currently underway.

Authorities hope to determine the cause of the collision following the conclusion of the investigation.

The report, due to the immediacy of the incident, provided no further information at the time of its release.
