Three Hurt in Alleged Alcohol Related Accident on Red Bud Trail in Austin, TX

Austin, TX -- A suspected drunk driving incident left three unidentified people with injuries in the area of West Austin, TX Friday 13, 2017.

It appears the Ferrari occupied by the victims was traveling along Red Bud Trail about 2:30 a.m. when the incident happened. Sources say the vehicle was attempting to negotiate a turn when it failed. The vehicle reportedly launched 40 feet in the air, flipped over and finally came to rest at the bottom of a ravine. Officials claim the vehicle was going at least 100 mph. The three occupants within the car sustained minor injuries in the incident.

It is unclear what caused the incident, but police are investigating the crash as being alcohol related.
