William A. Hansen Jr. Killed, One Hurt in Truck Accident in Bolingbrook, IL

Bolingbrook, IL -- A collision between two tractor-trailers on Interstate 55 in the area of Bolingbrook,IL claimed the life of William A. Hansen Jr. and left one injured Tuesday, January 17, 2017.

It appears one semi-truck rear-ended a second rig in the northbound lane of interstate 55 about 3:23 a.m. Mr. Hansen, 60, was killed at the scene of the incident. A second driver, an unidentified 36-year-old resident of Wheaton, was left with non-life threatening injuries. There were no other injuries reported in the incident.

The cause of the deadly collision has not been determined at the time of the report.

The official investigation is currently underway.
