Gideon Gachohi Killed, Two Hurt in Truck Accident near Weatherford, OK

Weatherford, OK -- A four-vehicle collision between three semi-trucks and a Volvo left 45-year-old Gideon Gachohi dead and injured 2 near Weatherford, OK Saturday, January 14, 2017.

Sources say the incident took place on Interstate 40 about 3:25 a.m.

It appears, based upon the early report, that three trucks and the Volvo passenger car collided, leaving one dead and two hurt. One driver of one of the semi-trucks, Gideon Gachohi, was killed at the scene of the incident. Two occupants of the Volvo were taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries. They have both since been released. The identities of the injured victims have not been divulged.

Authorities had yet to establish an exact cause of the collision.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
