Two Injured in Temple, TX, 18-wheeler Accident on I-35

Temple, TX -- January 13, 2017, two people were injured as the result of an accident in which two 18-wheelers and two cars crashed on I-35.

Temple Police responded to the accident scene just before 7:00 a.m. Their reports say that the crash took place on I-35 near the intersection of Airport Road.

Preliminary investigations indicate that two 18-wheelers and two passenger vehicles, all in the southbound lanes, somehow crossed paths and crashed into one another. A total of five people were involved in the incident, but only two were reported to be injured. EMS transported them to Baylor Scott & White for treatment of minor injuries.

Authorities did not elaborate on what caused the accident, nor did they report any charges or citations. They say the crash is still under investigation.
