Man Found Dead, Woman Hurt in Garland, TX Accidental House Fire on Greencove Drive

Garland, TX -- An incident involving a house fire claimed the life of an unidentified man and left a woman with injuries in the area of 1400 Greencove Drive in Garland, TX Sunday, January 15, 2017.

The press release claimed emergency crews were called to house after reports of a massive blaze about 10:45 p.m. By the time the fire was under control, one man was found dead, and an unnamed woman was taken to a nearby hospital. The female victim was last listed in critical condition.

The victim's identities had yet to be disclosed.

Authorities are in the process of investigating the incident.

The preliminary media report, due to the immediacy of the incident, provided few details regarding the deadly event.
