Lakisha Finney, Rickey May Killed in Head-On Accident in Honey Grove, TX

Honey Grove, TX -- A head-on collision on State Highway 34 in Honey Grove, TX killed both Lakisha Finney and Rickey May Friday, January 13, 2017.

It looks like a vehicle occupied by Rickey May, 62, was traveling along State Highway 34 about 8:30 a.m. when the incident happened. At some point, his vehicle and a vehicle occupied by Ms. Finney collided head-on. It is unclear if Ms. Finney was killed at the scene. Mr. May was taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries, but died a short time later.

Th exact cause of the crash had yet to be determined.

Authorities are investigating the details of the crash and are hoping to make a determination as it concludes.
