Kerey Weatherspoon Killed in Truck Accident in Fort Valley, GA

Fort Valley, GA -- A passenger car vs. truck collision left 36-year-old Kerey Weatherspoon dead in Fort Valley, GA Friday, January 13, 2017.

It looks like the deceased victim's Chevy Spark collided with the rear of truck in the area of Highway 96 about 10:40 a.m.

The official report claims the victim, Mr. Weatherspoon, a resident of Fort Valley, was taken to a local hospital. Authorities say Mr. Weatherspoon was pronounced dead a short time later. The cause of the incident had yet to be determined at the time of the report. There was no mention of other injuries in the collision.

The investigation into the incident that took Mr. Weatherspoon's life is currently underway.

The report provided no further information regarding the crash.
