Arline Downing Killed in Dump Truck Accident in Laconia, NH

Laconia, NH -- An incident involving a passenger car and a dump truck claimed the life of 88-year-old Arline Downing in Laconia, NH Thursday, January 12, 2017.

Sources say the incident took place on an undisclosed bypass Thursday afternoon.

The details of the incident are sparse, but officials say a passenger car containing Ms. Downing collided with a dump truck. The force of the collision reportedly left the dump truck overturned. Police have not determined the exact cause of the collision, but are investigating the possibility poor driving conditions may have contributed.

Officials are currently examining the details of the incident.
