Sandra M. Seal Killed in Accident Crimora, VA

Crimora, VA -- An incident between a propane truck and a passenger car claimed the life of 57-year-old Sandra M. Seal Thursday, January 12, 2017.

Sources say the incident happened in the area of 1500 Eastside Highway about 2:23 p.m.

It appears a Toyota Corolla containing the victim and the semi-truck collided on the northbound side of the Eastside Highway. The force of the head-on collision caused the tractor-trailer to flip over onto its side. Mrs. Seal was killed at the scene of the incident. The unidentified driver of the truck was unhurt in the crash.

The official investigation is ongoing.

As of the time of the preliminary media report, the actual cause of the incident was undetermined.

The report left no further information at the time of its release.
