Man Injured in Fort Worth, TX, Gravel Truck Accident on TX-360

Fort Worth, TX -- January 12, 2017, a driver was injured as the result of an accident in which his vehicle collided with a gravel truck on TX-360.

The Fort Worth Police Department released details about the accident, saying it took place near the intersection of TX-360 and FAA Boulevard, just south of the DFW Airport.

According to preliminary reports, a man was driving a sedan down TX-360 at the time. For reasons that weren't specified, his vehicle crashed into the rear-end of a truck hauling gravel. As a result, the man became trapped inside the vehicle.

Rescue crews came to the scene and had to extract the man before he could be taken to the hospital. Reports did not specify his condition.

Details on the collision are still unclear. Investigations are ongoing.
