One Killed, Two Injured in 3-Vehicle Accident on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Niagara Falls, NY

Niagara Falls, NY -- A three-vehicle collision on Interstate-190 claimed the life of one person and left two with injuries Sunday, January 8, 2017.

Sources say the vehicle containing the deceased victim was eastbound on Interstate-190 about 7 p.m. when the incident occurred. The vehicle reportedly collided with a second vehicle headed west on the interstate. The second vehicle then allegedly crashed into a third vehicle that was also headed west.

The driver of the first vehicle, a 53-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital, where died a short time later.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 29-year-old resident of Lewistown, sustained multiple injuries in the incident.

A third driver, a resident of Youngstown, 50-years-old, sustained a minor injury.

Officials are currently investigating the details of the incident.

The report, due to the immediacy of the collision, provided little information.
