Srabonti Haque Killed in Accident in Salem, OR

Salem, OR -- 36-year-old Srabonti Haque was killed when a car crashed into her house on Sussex Avenue SE in the area of Salem, OR Thursday, January 12, 2017.

Officials allege a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Alan Patrick Jacobs careened off the road, crashing into the house. Witnesses arrived at the scene around 1:30 a.m. to find the victim's husband and their two sons searching through the rubble. Mrs. Haque was killed at the scene of the incident. The exact cause of the incident is unclear at this time. There was no mention of other injuries related to the collision.

Officials are currently examining the details of the crash.

The preliminary press release provided no more information regarding the deadly collision.
