Andrew Nesbit Killed in Omro, WI, 18-wheeler Accident

Town of Omro, WI -- January 4, 2017, Andrew Nesbit suffered fatal injuries following an accident where his vehicle and an 18-wheeler crashed.

Town of Omro authorities report that 30-year-old Nesbit was traveling down the roadway in a passenger van at the time. Currently, details surrounding the accident are still vague. As he was driving, his vehicle and an oncoming 18-wheeler somehow crossed paths with each other.

As a result, the two vehicles crashed head-on into each other. Both the semi-trailer and the passenger van were pushed off the side of the road in the accident.

Emergency personnel say that Nesbit suffered fatal injuries in the collision, and they pronounced him dead at the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured in the crash.

Authorities say that their investigations into the accident continue. No further information is currently available.
