Jennifer Peebles Injured in Walnut Hill, FL, 18-wheeler Accident

Walnut Hill, FL -- January 6, 2017, Jennifer Peebles sustained injuries following an accident in which her vehicle and an 18-wheeler collided.

Preliminary reports were released by the Florida State Highway Patrol in regards to the accident. They indicate that occurred along FL-97 just east of Walnut Hill.

In the afternoon hours, a truck driver was traveling down the highway when he slowed down to make a left turn. In doing so, 38-year-old Peebles could not slow down in time. Her vehicle crashed into the back of the trailer, partially lodging beneath it.

Emergency services were called to the scene where they helped extract Peebles from her vehicle. They determined she had non-critical injuries and sent her to the hospital for further treatment. The truck driver was not injured.

At this time, authorities have not released any additional information surrounding this accident.
