10 Injured in New Haven, CT, School Bus Accident on Foxon

New Haven, CT -- January 9, 2017, ten people sustained injuries following an accident in which a school bus and an SUV collided on Foxon Boulevard.

Police investigators indicate that the accident occurred at the intersection of Foxon Boulevard and Quinnipiac Avenue.

Preliminary reports have indicated that the school bus was traveling through the intersection while transporting multiple students. An SUV entered the intersection and crashed into the side of the bus, lodging beneath it.

Following the accident, eight kids were transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Additionally, two adults were taken to the hospital. It's unclear from which vehicle they came.

Authorities did not say which vehicle was at fault. No charges or citations were reported. Investigations are ongoing.
