Sonny Lee Lemos Killed in Corpus Christi, TX, Accident

Corpus Christi, TX -- January 9, 2017, Sonny Lee Lemos was killed due to an accident where his vehicle crashed into a house.

Corpus Christi Police officials reported on the fatal accident that occurred in the late evening hours. The residence is located on Horne Road.

According to preliminary investigations, 26-yar-old Lemos was driving down Horne in a pickup. For reasons that aren't clear, the pickup lost control and went off the side of the road. It hopped a curb, went over a lawn, and crashed into a residence.

The crash was severe enough that Lemos succumbed to his injuries before emergency services could arrive. No one was in the home at the time of the accident.

Authorities have yet to determine what factors contributed to the accident. Their investigations are ongoing.
